The phrase “wood dowel garden rack” came up in my keyword research. So I had to see what it was. I found this video. It’s interesting. Especially the way the holes for the dowels are drilled.
Watch it and learn something new.

I was looking into the history of the Pisanki egg because that term keeps showing up for search terms for our wood eggs ads. The term is now on the negative keyword list because customers who look for Pisanki eggs generally are not looking for unfinished wood eggs which we sell.
While researching Pisanki eggs, this article by Lamus Dworski was interesting. Have fun reading it and learn a little about Polish history and culture! The wide variety of methods to do Pisanki eggs can be used for wooden eggs. Many different patterns are shown. The tight knitted pouches was new information to me, for example….
Little Bins for Little Hands have a nice post on making egg launchers. Great for tossing wood eggs. Take a look. (warning… too many ads. Perhaps use an ad blocker before visiting…)
We have a new unfinished wood candle stick in stock. It’s 2-5/8″ tall with a 2-5/16″ base. Standard 7/8″ hole. Most candle sticks we sell are in two pieces with the base screwed on but not this one, it’s a one piece turning.
To decorate any cutouts, try adding this wood heart cutout… Have fun crafting for St. Valentine’s Day!
