We at Casey’s sell lots of wooden shaker pegs. Most times, shaker pegs are used in formats like shaker peg racks – wooden boards between 1 to 4 feet long. Some call them shaker peg rails (maybe I should rename things at the website, I do that time to time.). However, that’s not always the case. Turns out that the Shakers themselves often installed a wooden board the full length of a room! This surprised me. Very useful to have shaker pegs the entire length of a room.
