Ordering something from us and want to add something unusual to your order for only 59 cents each? (price lowered from 69 cents)
If yes, then add a few of these random sized wood combs to your order…
Some history about these wood combs… We don’t normally sell wood combs. These random sized wood combs came in the final shipment from a supplier that has closed down because the owner has retired. As of writing we have about 100 in stock and they’re in all sizes from 3″ wide to 8″ wide. Many are coarse teeth while some have finer teeth. The supply is too small, too random sized and too low priced for us to sell exact wood combs hence “random”.
You can mention in the comments box during the checkout process that you prefer larger or smaller or finer or coarse teeth. But please don’t be too picky because after all, they are very random sized.
I was looking into the history of the Pisanki egg because that term keeps showing up for search terms for our wood eggs ads. The term is now on the negative keyword list because customers who look for Pisanki eggs generally are not looking for unfinished wood eggs which we sell.
While researching Pisanki eggs, this article by Lamus Dworski was interesting. Have fun reading it and learn a little about Polish history and culture! The wide variety of methods to do Pisanki eggs can be used for wooden eggs. Many different patterns are shown. The tight knitted pouches was new information to me, for example….
Little Bins for Little Hands have a nice post on making egg launchers. Great for tossing wood eggs. Take a look. (warning… too many ads. Perhaps use an ad blocker before visiting…)
We get gifts from our customers time to time. It’s always a surprise when we get them and the most recent one was exceptional. It’s an “open” flag and flagpole!
This “Open” flag was made by Susan Clickner. Her website is at susanclicknerdesigns.com. Thanks Susan!
The flag is now in use – useful because our old “open” flag was falling apart and was about to be replaced. On good days the flag will be outside while on lousy days will be just outside the inner main door indoors.
We have added a new category to the CaseysWood.com website today: Pine Wood Car & Truck Bodies. All car or truck bodies are milled from 3/4″ clear pine wood. They all have 7/32″ holes, perfect for our axle pegs that’s for wheels with 1/4″ holes.
If you order them now, you should expect a slight delay of about 1 week because all are made to order, not kept in stock.
Pick out the one you like best then choose your favorite wood wheel with a 1/4″ hole. Select the axle peg based on the wheel you chose.
